According to Fabrizio Romano on the Here We Go podcast, Manuel Locatelli is on Juventus’ radar again. Other important European clubs are also interested in him, and Sassuolo will be keen on charging a decent fee for the Italian midfielder.
Among the other big clubs keeping a track on Locatelli include Manchester City, who have been linked with options in midfield. However, due to their enormous status in Italy, Juventus are considered as the favourites to land the player if a transfer is indeed set to go through.
Juventus have also been linked with selling Wojciech Szczęsny this summer, but the rumour is not true. He is staying at the club and is the first choice goalkeeper for the foreseeable future.
Elsewhere, Ashley Young was close to agreeing a contract with Watford. While they were close to signing him, Inter have now offered him a one-year contract extension. Even though the offer is a surprising one, the player has taken them up on the offer and is expected to spend the upcoming season at the San Siro.
Lastly, Rui Patricio is a target for Roma. Wolves want €12 million for the Portuguese number 1, who will be the replacement for Jose Sa under Jose Mourinho at Roma. They have been linked with the transfer of Granit Xhaka from Arsenal as well, and are close to completing that deal.
