Borussia Dortmund are set to sign Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart, triggering his €18.5 million release clause. The player has also accepted the move, and is set to finalise the minute details of his contract with the black and yellow side soon.
Guirassy was one of the top targets for Dortmund this summer, and after weeks of trying to get the deal over the line, they have finally achieved a breakthrough.

The Guinean forward’s contributions played a huge role in helping Stuttgart finish second in the Bundesliga, and subsequently return to the Champions League. The 28-year-old scored 30 goals in as many games across the league and DFB Pokal, while also providing three assists.
Several clubs were interested in Serhou Guirassy given his low release clause. But, Dortmund were always ahead in the race and have now been able to get the deal over the line.
With Niclas Fullkrug also signed last summer, Dortmund have signed the Bundesliga top scorer for two seasons in a row. Sebastian Haller is set to leave the club this summer, while Youssoufa Moukoko could also depart over limited playing time.
