Sergio Ramos talks about his contract situation at Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos has been one of the mainstays of Real Madrid in the last few years. He has been captain fantastic with leading the team from the front. His current contract with the Spanish giants ends this summer, so there have been many speculations surrounding him.

The Real Madrid captain has talked about many things, including his contract situation at Madrid. Among all these things, he also talked about him getting back to full fitness.

Ramos said, via Marca: “I am finally back with the team. Now comes the most important [stage of the season] and I would like to help with great performances.”

“Hopefully we can win a big trophy and dedicate it to the fans.”

The Real Madrid captain revealed that there is nothing to report on his contract situation at Madrid. He said: “I wish I could say something, but everything remains the same.”

“All I’m thinking about is coming back and finishing the season in the best possible way. There’s no news of my renewal, I wish I could [say something].”

“I’m calm and I’m only thinking about playing again and winning a trophy.”

Ramos is also very confident that he can continue playing at the highest level for another five years.

“You can’t please everyone, but there’s one thing you can’t erase: everything you’ve won,” he said.

“The only thing that worries me is that they know that I’m a real guy, that I left my soul for the Madrid badge.”

“I’ve always stood up for myself and I’ve always told the truth. I’m honest, humble and hard working. It is on the basis of performance that the player should be judged.”

“I can play five more years at the highest level. If injuries are not too bad, my mentality will help me.”

All the Madridistas would be hoping that Captain fantastic renews his contract at Madrid and lead them to glory!
