FC Goa have announced the signing of Dejan Drazic on a two-year contract till 2026, making him the first Serbian to play for the Gaurs. The 28-year-old most recently played for Cyprus-based Ethnikos Achna FC – where he scored six goals and 14 assists across 39 appearances in 2023-24.
His previous experience has seen him play in Spain for Celta Vigo, alongside a spell with Real Valladolid on loan. He also has experience playing in the Europa League and Europa Conference League, and is now set for his first spell in Asia.

“We’re elated to welcome Dejan to FC Goa. He is a very talented player, technically brilliant with fine dribbling abilities and a very good final pass.
“He has played in different countries, which will help him adapt to India and the nature of football played in the country. Versatility is another one of Dejan’s qualities – he can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder. All of this makes him a fantastic addition to the squad, and we’re sure he will hit the ground running at training once he arrives,” FC Goa coach Manolo Marquez said.
As a left winger, it seems likely that Dejan Drazic is the direct replacement for Noah Sadaoui, who left the Gaurs earlier this month to sign for Kerala Blasters. It now remains to be seen if Drazic can replicate Sadaoui in terms of having an impact on the team.
