Netflix Streamers can now watch a second trailer of “Senna”, which is a six-part series about the life of legendary Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, on Netflix. Expected to launch worldwide this coming November, the series traces Senna’s first days in go-kart racing through his triumphs and struggles en route to becoming a three-time Formula 1 champion. Upcoming Biographical Series: Senna
On November 29 the legacy of one of Brazil’s most famous drivers begins streaming on Netflix, with all episodes available for fans worldwide and that includes those residing in the UK and Ireland. The show intends to expose this remarkable story of Ayrton Senna around the world, focusing on his fighting spirit and love for racing.
Opening with Senna’s words, “Even before I got into a car, I knew I was born to race,” the trailer offers a glimpse into his early years, from karting to Formula Ford in England, and ultimately to his entry into Formula 1. Memorable moments from his career are featured, including legendary performances at the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix and the 1991 Brazilian Grand Prix.
The series also examines out-of-competition rivalries and relationships that shaped Senna’s career, with interactions between figures such as Alain Prost, Niki Lauda or Ron Dennis. Senna is played by Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone, Xuxa Meneghel his girlfriend Pâmela Tomé, and rival Prost Matt Mella with Dennis being portrayed by Patrick Kennedy.
Other motorsport legends, including Nelson Piquet and Jean-Marie Balestre, will make appearances, adding depth to Senna’s story.
