RC Lens captain Seko Fofana is set to move to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr in the coming days. The player has accepted their proposal, and Lens will receive a transfer fee in the region of €25-30 million for the midfielder.

His contribution was essential in their second-placed finish in Ligue 1, and they finished only one point behind league winners PSG. In spite of qualifying for the Champions League, the French club are offloading their best players, with Fofana now on his way to Saudi Arabia.

The player has agreed personal terms for the move and has completed the first part of his medical assessment already. Once Al Nassr have paid the remaining €500,000 for their move for Ahmed Musa from Leicester City in 2021, which caused them a transfer ban, Fofana will be registered as a new player.

Seko Fofana, alongside their top goalscorer, Lois Openda, have brought in two of the biggest transfer fees for the club by leaving this summer. Openda joined RB Leipzig for €40 million, also a record deal for the Bundesliga side. And now, Fofana is set to make way as well.

He will be joining alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic and Alex Telles, who will also make the move to Al Nassr from Manchester United soon.
