The Scotland international has been played in a variety of midfield roles throughout his time at Manchester United. He has often come up as a seasoned finisher in the opposition box, scoring 29 goals in 255 appearances for the Red Devils throughout his career. At times he has also been played as a centre-back, and he has filled in quite well in spite of being naturally suited to playing further forward.
United are set to sign Manuel Ugarte to replace the 27-year-old with a deal in place with PSG for the Uruguayan. On the other hand, Napoli are set to add Romelu Lukaku to their line-up in the coming days as well, having agreed a transfer with Chelsea to reunite the Belgian with Antonio Conte.
