After a shocking start in Indian Super League with 3 points from the first 7 games, SC East Bengal is back in business to seal the deals to make the team better. SC East Bengal is in talks with some highly talented players.
On New Year’s Day, Nigerian Striker Bright Enobakhare signed for SC East Bengal. The 22-year-old striker joined AEK Athens last summer from Wolverhampton Wanderers. He has played 49 games for the English club and scored his first Premier League goal last January.
SC East Bengal boss Robbie Fowler is delighted to have him on the team. Fowler said, “I am absolutely delighted with the signing of Bright. I have had a few good chats with him, given him our vision, our beliefs, and what we want to achieve here. He has accepted them with an open mind. The signing of a young and talented player definitely adds to our squad.”
Bright Enobakhare is also delighted to sign the deal with the Kolkata giant and excited to take on the new challenge. He said, “I am happy to be a part of SC East Bengal. It is one of the biggest clubs in India and offers me a fresh challenge. The Indian Supre League is growing at a rapid pace and I believe that I can fulfill my potential here. I know the league has already started and I have to get together with the squad soon. I am prepared to do that and looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
Bright will wear the Number 10 jersey for SC East Bengal. He will surely add some force upfront for SC East Bengal along with Jacques Maghoma, Anthony Pilkington, and Aaron Amadi-Holloway.
