Manchester City are planning to sign Savinho at the end of the season from their sister club Girona in LaLiga. The Spanish side have been doing very well this season, and topped the table before the most recent matchday. Barcelona are also interested in the youngster, but might not be able to convince him to reject City considering their massive recent success.

City Football Group’s French side Troyes loaned the Brazilian youngster to Girona at the start of the season. And his performance has been remarkable, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 18 LaLiga games this season. He has also scored once in the Copa del Rey, helping Girona achieve a sensational start to the 23/24 season.

After spending last season on loan at Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, the 19-year-old was loaned to Girona for the next step in his career. And he has seemingly impressed enough for the treble winners to take an interest in him.

Savinho could be recruited by other Premier League and Bundesliga clubs as well, since they are ready to offer around €30 million for the player. But City are determined to keep him in their fold and include him as part of their future project.

They have spent heavily in recruiting talented youngsters to become part of their academy. And the pacey winger could be the first of the new wave of South Americans to break through after Julian Alvarez.
