The Saudi Pro League could raid the English Premier League this summer, with several players linked with a move to the Middle East once again. Last summer, they collectively spent over £1.1 billion on players.
N’Golo Kante, Fabinho, Kalidou Koulibaly, Aleksander Mitrovic, Jordan Henderson, Aymeric Laporte and Edouard Mendy were some of the biggest names to make the move to the Saudi Pro League last summer. The biggest across Europe, however, was Neymar, who left PSG for a fee worth €80 million. However, things haven’t worked out well, with a knee injury sidelining him for the majority of the season.

Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling has been linked with a move this summer, but the player’s agents have reiterated that he remains committed to the project at Stamford Bridge.
Moreover, Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City has also been linked. But, not only does the Belgian prefer a move to the MLS, but it will also take a massive amount to convince him to leave City this summer.Â
Mohamed Salah, however, could end up leaving the club now that Jurgen Klopp is also expected to move on in the summer. And the Middle East has emerged as a potential option. There have been rumours that he has already signed for a club, but those are yet to be confirmed.Â
Al Ahli are hoping to add a striker, Al Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, are eager to recruit a goalkeeper, and Al Ittihad are trying to add a centre defender and a central midfield player. In addition, coaches could also also make the move with Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel and Jose Mourinho also rumoured as possible options.
