Satyabhama Release Date, Plot, Cast, and Expectation
On Sunday the fabulous actress Kajal Aggarwal shared the poster of the film with the caption, “My next with a super talented team! Something I’ve never done before. The title of the film is ‘Satyabhama’. In this film, we will see Kajal Agarwal in a power pack cop avatar. It seems that the actress is breaking the limitations this time.
The actress has taken to Instagram, she shared the poster of the movie and captioned it, “My next with a super talented team! Something I’ve never done before. #Satyabhama-Hope you love it #kajal60.”
Satyabhama: Plot
Satyabhama is mainly a crime thriller film that has been produced by Sashi Kiran Tikka. We will soon get the list of the remaining cast members of the film. Directed by Akhil Degala, the film appears to be woman-centric as the actor plays the lead role of a fearless cop.
The makers have dropped a one-minute and forty-eight-second-long trailer. The new trailer unlocks the daring look of Kajal Aggarwal. The trailer opens with a glimpse of the police station where a man is calling Satya as the accused are very adamant. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the role of a dominating lady police officer who is driving at full speed. The way she enters the police station is really incredible. After entering the police station, she is moving towards the jail where two criminal is not confessing any single thing. She comes infront of them and fists her hand.
Now, the action begins as she is beating the criminals heavily. She takes them as a punching bag. After getting back-to-back punches, one criminal lost his control, and become ready to confess everything. Kajal Aggarwal is wearing a red saree and red bangles. The bangles are broken up after beating spontaneously to the criminals.
However, she came out of jail, and signed in a paper, while another lady police constable told her that she should beat them without bangles. Kajal Aggarwal gives a dominating response by saying, other male police officers already did it but failed. She is looking like a queen in the trailer.
Sri Chatan Pakala is the music composer for the film. Cinematography and editing have been taken care of by Singham Mohit Krishna and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.
“This is a character that we wrote wherein we wanted a hero from a commercial space, who has done a lot of mainstream commercial cinema because while shaping up the character, there was a lot of commerciality to it,” says Sashi.
The filmmaker added, “At the same time there is a lot of softness, vulnerability, and emotion to the character. When we were writing, we thought of many actors. But the moment we thought of Kajal, the script started going really well. We didn’t know if she is going to agree or not but once we had a good story in place, we met her.”
Sashi Kiran Tikka also reveals that her role in Satyabhama is actually her off-screen personality.
“So her personality which she has outside of films, if you meet her outside, you will know what she brings to the film. She is a mother now. She has a 14-month infant at home. She is balancing that with films and she has not given it up. This spirit, this fighter attitude is what reflects in her character as well. Her off-screen personality makes this character edgier,” says Sashi, who is known for directing films such as Goodachari and Major.
Recently, the actress appeared in the Tamil horror film ‘Karungaapiyam,’ which failed to draw a line in the mind of the audience, also at the box office.
We will see her next in Shankar‘s upcoming film ‘Indian 2’ which features legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simhaa, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles. One of the most interesting facts is, the first part was released in 1996.
‘Indian 2’, on the other hand, went on floors in 2019 and the shooting came to a standstill in 2020 after a crane collapsed on the set during the shooting of the film near Chennai, leaving 3 dead and 10 injured.
