Netflix reveals the trailer of Arjun Kapoor’s starrer film ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’. It is a family drama film. This family entertaining movie has been directed by Kaashvie Nair and the script is written by Anuja Chauhan.
It explores the journey of a US-return grandson (Arjun), who is a very responsible grandson and goes to any extent to fulfill the last wish of his grandmother. The movie is featured with Arjun Kapoor, Rakulpreet Singh, Neena Gupta, Soni Razdan, Aditi Rao Hydari, John Abraham, and Divya Seth.
In the trailer, we have seen that Neena Gupta as Sardar who wants to see her grandson, take her to their ancestral home in Lahore. There is also a condition, if her grandson takes her there then she will make him the owner of her business.
But her grandson does not get permission to take her to Lahore, then he just decides to bring the ancestral home to Amritsar. The film may seem to be bizarre, but it is a decent movie to watch in this time for a few moments of laughter.
Arjun Kapoor also shared a beautiful video which is contained with some family photos of the entire team of the film. It began with the childhood picture of Aditi Rao Hydari with her mother and also Arjun’s image with her mother.
Actress Rakulpreet Singh also stated that the photo in the video was from the day while her father has taken her for her first swimming session. After sharing the photo with Netflix she realized the golden value of those images.
Neena Gupta who has played the role of the Sardar also very excited to know the reaction of the viewers to her character. She states that it is a very heart-touching story contained with lots of emotions and laughter.
According to her, it is one of the perfect family watches that explores the journey of her US-return grandson as he is fighting with all the obstacles to fulfill the dream of his grandmother.
Arjun Kapoor said that it was a great opportunity for him to work with such talented actors, which gives him great experience, and he also said that the story of this film would connect people all over the globe.
The shooting of this film was done amid a pandemic situation. Recently, it is informed that the movie is mainly scheduled for the theaters, but the producer Bhusan Kumar has taken the decision to release the film digitally.
