Sandro Tonali has signed a new contract with AC Milan that will keep him at the club until 2027. He is considered an essential part of the project, and has been secured for the foreseeable future.
The midfielder initially lowered his salary to join the club, earning around €1.3 million per season. The new deal sees him earn a well deserved raise up to €2.5 million, since his amortization fee has been paid off in order to make his transfer permanent.
AC Milan renew Sandro Tonali’s contract with salary raise
“Hi guys, I’m delighted with my contract renewal and to have extended my stay at Milan. You know how deep my love is for these colours. I thank you for the support you provide us. With your backing, we can achieve great things,” Tonali said to AC Milan fans via Instagram.
Last season, the Italian played a very big part in helping the Rossoneri win the Scudetto. And he has continued to perform well this season too, becoming a fan-favourite in the process.
Milan have also renewed the contract of Rade Krunic until 2025, alongside Sandro Tonali. Fikayo Tomori has also been rewarded with a new contract, having performed brilliantly since his transfer from Chelsea. After their 2-1 win over Sampdoria, the defending champions are level on points with table toppers Napoli.
