Arsenal have been linked with the transfer of AC Milan star Sandro Tonali recently. The Rossoneri have made it clear that he isn’t for sale, but the Gunners are planning to launch a £50 million bid to sign him this summer.

They have been linked with Youri Tielemans of Leicester City, but have failed to get the transfer done. However, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko have made the move to the club, and will provide options in midfield even though Zinchenko played mostly as a left-back under Pep Guardiola.

Sandro Tonali to leave AC Milan for Arsenal?

The young regista helped his side to the Serie A title this past season, and is seen as a vital part of the future by the board. He is only one year into his five-year deal with AC Milan. As a result, the club is under no pressure to sell him at all.

The fact that he is happy at San Siro, and will be playing Champions League football, is also one of the key points to note. So, if Arsenal want the player to join them, they will have to use their financial leverage to convince him to make the switch.

Milan have already lost a key midfielder in Franck Kessie, and will be determined to not let anyone else go this late in the transfer window. But, Arsenal are still exploring the possibilities of a deal for Sandro Tonali within the coming week.
