Samu Omorodion has officially signed for Porto from Atletico Madrid. The striker joins the Portuguese side on a permanent deal, with a rather complicated structure.
As things stand, the Liga BBVA side owns 50% of the rights to Omorodion for a sum worth €15 million. They can purchase another 15% of the rights to him for €5 million next summer, and another 15% in 2026 for the same amount.

The striker has signed a contract till 2029 with a €100 million release clause in place. He was earlier expected to sign for Chelsea, with Conor Gallagher going the other way. However, the move for him collapsed and the Blues ended up signing Joao Felix permanently.
Now, he has found a solution to his club situation by signing for the Portuguese club. He will likely be the replacement for Evanilson after the Brazilian’s transfer to Bournemouth.
Porto have also signed Fabio Vieira on a straight loan deal to replace Francisco Conceicao, who has agreed to join Juventus.
