According to GSMArena, the business has blocked registrations and made the store exclusively available to existing customers, who can only download apps that they have already downloaded.
The Tizen app store was permanently closed on December 31, 2021, and Samsung Z series smartphone users were advised to switch to Android or iOS.
Despite going totally to Android for phones and Wear OS for smartwatches, Samsung just announced its new smart TVs, which are still running Tizen OS.
Tizen OS for smart TVs is packed with features and includes access to all of the most popular audio and video streaming providers.
Samsung Health, SmartThings, Samsung TV Plus, and a variety of additional gaming features are all included.
According to GSM Arena, the firm stopped accepting new registrations for the app in June of last year, and only existing customers were permitted to access the store, which contained only already downloaded apps.
The Tizen app store, on the other hand, was permanently shuttered after December 31, 2021.
GSM Arena advises Samsung Z series smartphone users to upgrade to Android or iOS.
The last Tizen-powered Samsung Z4 phone was released in 2017.
