According to the latest reports released by Roland Quandt, we now have updates about the release of the upcoming flagship Samsung hardware. According to previous rumours and leaks, the South Korean tech giant has two foldable smartphones and multiple smartwatches in development, to name but a few.
We already know that Samsung is working with AMD to offer the latter mobile RDNA2 GPUs in its flagship devices; however, the updated list of devices that contain some smartphones but none is reported to sport the next-generation of SoC.
According to Quandt, Samsung has started mass producing the following devices in ‘large quantities:
- Galaxy Buds 2 (SM-R177)
- Galaxy Z Fold3
- Galaxy Z Flip3
- Galaxy Watch 4
- Galaxy Watch Active 4
- Galaxy S21 FE
According to sources, its also been reported that Samsung has produced ‘a few ten thousand parts’ for the Galaxy S21 FE before stopping. Reports also indicate that the Galaxy S21 FE is not canceled, however, there is no official explanation offered by Samsung as to why it has stopped producing it for the time being.
We already know that the South Korean tech giant will be unveiling the Galaxy S21 FE in August. However, the launch dates for the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 remain unknown. Samsung has not hinted at when it plans to announce the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch Active 4 series.
Reports also suggest that the company will host a ‘New Watch Experience’ at MWC 2021 on June 28 and it is expected that the reports about its smartwatches will come out next week.
