Through interactive Design Thinking workshops and Open House sessions, Samsung is connecting classroom education with practical problem-solving. Students are moving beyond theory to:

Create prototypes of their innovative solutions.
Present their ideas to industry experts.
Equip themselves for the challenges of entrepreneurship.

“These workshops are pushing students to think critically, collaborate, and take ownership of their ideas — qualities that will serve them for life,” said Dr. Ashish Dwivedi, faculty at O.P. Jindal Global University.

Students are generating community-focused ideas that tackle pressing issues in:

Participants are encouraged to create solutions across four key themes:

  1. AI for a Safer, Smarter, and Inclusive Bharat: Leveraging AI for societal good.
  2. Future of Health, Hygiene, and Well-being in India: Innovations for a healthier nation.
  3. Social Change through Sports and Tech for Education and Better Futures: Using technology and sports for positive impact.
  4. Environmental Sustainability via Technology: Tech-driven solutions for a greener future.

The Rewards: Funding and Mentorship for Young Innovators

The 2025 edition offers incredible opportunities:

  • Top 4 Winning Teams: Incubation program + INR 1 crore grant.
  • Top 20 Teams: INR 20 lakh award.
  • Top 40 Teams: INR 8 lakh award.

After the application phase, 100 teams will receive online mentoring from subject experts, leading to a video pitch round and the selection of the top 40.

The application window is open until June 30, 2025, for school and college students aged 14-22 across India.
