Samsung has taken a break from it’s Exynos processors and has announced two new Windows laptop arrivals powered with Arm-based processors. Both the models, Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G will flaunt Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.
Basic Specs
The Samsung Galaxy Book Go starts at $349 and is an entry-level model. Paired with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 Processor, the Galaxy Book Go has a 14-inch 1080p LCD display. It is also substantially thin at just 14.9mm thickness. Galaxy Book Go has options of 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of eUFS Storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Go 5G comes with an even powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2Â Processor. This isn’t a big upgrade but performs better than the Galaxy Book Go. Unlike the Galaxy Book Go which includes only WiFi connectivity, the Book Go 5G includes 5G connectivity.
The pricing for the Galaxy Book Go 5G hasn’t been released yet. Both laptops include 2 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port, and a 720p webcam. These models are supposed to go on sale from June 10th onwards.
