At the heart of this patent lies a design and manufacturing approach aimed at overcoming these obstacles. It introduces a method for constructing displays that prioritizes preventing undesirable effects ensuring longevity and enhancing the user experience. The key components include a display panel divided into sections, a support member, for flexibility, and strategically placed filling material to address specific concerns.

Notable features of this Samsung’s patent include a display panel comprising three portions that highlight alignment and unique connections. The design of the support member incorporates three parts dedicated to supporting flexibility, including a curved section that contributes to the display’s resilience.

The placement of the filling member is carefully chosen to counteract the rebound effect and improve the device’s ability to withstand impacts. Other sections of the display panel extend in different directions providing added flexibility to the device design. The manufacturing method outlined in the patent involves the use of a sliding core for bending, filling the support member, and bonding components with adhesive.

Looking ahead, this Samsung patent signifies a significant advancement in flexible display technology, promising more robust, durable, and versatile devices in the future. The innovations presented pave the way for a new generation of displays that seamlessly combine flexibility with reliability, opening doors to creative and practical applications.
