Samsung has recently updated its Camera Controller app which now allows Samsung Galaxy S20 users to click pictures from the device using a Samsung galaxy smartwatch. This feature is included in the latest update and the company has also wiped out some previous minor bugs from the app which doesn’t count in anyways.
You have to download the Camera Controller app from the Galaxy Store on your device, then you have to sync it with your Samsung Galaxy smartwatch and only after that your smartwatch will act as a viewfinder and a shutter button for your device’s camera. With this, you can operate the phone’s camera and click pictures by giving commands remotely. Features, like capturing video and switching between front and rear cameras, are also available.
The Camera Controller app is currently compatible with the Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active2. It supports a total of 13 smartphones, including the S20 trio, but the list doesn’t include the Galaxy Z Flip.
