South Korean-based tech giant Samsung Electronics has just unveiled a new monitor in Vietnam. Dubbed the S34A650, the new 34-inch curved monitor arrives with 1440p resolution and support for a 100Hz refresh rate.

According to sources, the new curved monitor is only available in Vietnam country for now, and it is not yet known whether Samsung has plans to launch it in other markets.

The model S34A650 is also known as LS34A650 and features a VA panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio, with a 3440 x 1440px resolution and a 1000R curvature. According to Samsung, the monitor offers a high refresh rate of 100Hz and a contrast ratio of 4000:1.

It also has a 10-bit colour depth and AMD FreeSync support as well. Samsung has also equipped the S34A650 with a wide variety of ports. This includes ports like an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 connection, and an Ethernet port.

Apart from the above-mentioned ports, the S34A650 also features three USB 3.0 Type-A ports along with a USB Type C connection that supports up to 90W USB Power Delivery.

The South Korean tech giant has not released the price of the S34A650 for now, and the same can also be said for its possible pricing in other western markets as well. So stay tuned for more updates regarding the upcoming curved monitor. Knowing Samsung, the monitor might be hitting the European market pretty soon.
