Just two months back, Samsung introduced a large business monitor with a 5K 120Hz screen. The name company mentioned was S49A950UIU, and the price was declared as €1,250. Unfortunately, it was not confirmed when exactly the product would land on the market. It is finally coming next month, but the catch is it’s coming as Business-Monitor S9U.
Samsung relaunched the same business monitor last day with a new name and new price tag. The new name is Samsung Business-Monitor S9U, and the price increases to €1,399. Apart from the name and pricing, there is no other change. There is no announcement from the company end to sell the Business-Monitor S9U outside Germany.
Both the S49A950UIU and Business-Monitor S9U are identical. So, it houses the same 49-inch VA panel with a QLED backlight and 1800R curvature. You can also enjoy 5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 109PPI pixel density, 10-bit colour depth, and 3,000:1 contrast ratio.
There is a lot to mention, including DisplayHDR 400 certification, a KVM switch, dual built-in speakers, 95% DCI-P3 colour space, so many ports like HDMI, USB Type-C, RJ45, and so on.
As I mentioned, the Samsung Business-Monitor S9U will come to the German market only for now and will be available from next month at €1,399.
