Samsung One UI 7: These Phones Will Get the Update First and When

Samsung is set to begin rolling out its One UI 7 update starting in April, aligning with previous reports and ongoing beta programs. The update, which is based on Android 15, will roll out in phases from mid-April until the end of May to three generations of Galaxy smartphones.

Samsung’s latest flagships are among the first to get One UI 7. April 18: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold6 These will be the first Samsung phones to get the latest features on the software side of things. A week later, on April 25, Samsung will extend the rollout to last year’s flagships, like the Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip5, and Z Fold5. Complementing this date, the mid-range Galaxy A54 is also getting the update.

The One UI 7 is a bit delayed when it comes to the Galaxy S23 FE, with that update released on May 16. Galaxy S22 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, A34, A33, and A53 will also enter this wave of updates. And finally, Samsung will be deploying the update to its Galaxy S21 lineup as well as the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3, both of which are older foldable models on May 23rd. Samsung generally tends to roll out updates first for its recent flagships, and only then for older flagships and mid-rangers.

They come based on the leaked Samsung workshop document, but all align beautifully with the overall Samsung software update framework in place. However, minor delays are always possible due to final testing and regional variations. Samsung users will be served up performance boosts, improved multitasking abilities, and extensive customization choices with One UI 7. To note, the rollout will happen in stages, so some users may get the update a little later than others, based on their region and carrier.
