Samsung launches Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book business editions for the Indian market

Samsung has been on a spree of bringing new techs to the market, as recently witnessed by its patent to produce a TWS with features to convert between earbuds and neck-bands. Recently the South Korean tech giant has announced the business editions of its Galaxy Book and Galaxy Book Pro laptops.

Firstly its Samsung Galaxy Book will cost $899 for the 15.6-inch model. This model packs an Intel Core i5 processor and 16GB RAM. While the Galaxy Book Pro model will come with a 13.3-inch screen and starts at $1,099, it has another model sporting the 15.6-inch screen that starts at $1,199. The Galaxy Book Pro has two variants, of which one comes with Core i5/ 8GB /512GB and another one with Core i7/ 16GB /256GB.

The Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book for businesses include Windows 10 Pro and upgrade options to Windows 11 Pro. Though we expected the device to come with Windows 11 out of the box, since Microsoft is yet to release the Windows 11 stable officially then, this seems like the next best choice. Both the devices come powered by Intel’s 11th-generation processors and are Intel Eco-certified.

Coming to displays, both of the devices feature a Full HD screen resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and both laptops come with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and battery life of 21 hours for the i5 model and 20 for the i7 edition. The Galaxy Book is equipped with one Thunderbolt port, two USB 3.2 ports, and one USB-C port.

We have seen the recent launch of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE Wi-Fi variant in the Indian market, and it featured a 12.4-inch display, a 10,090mAh battery, and runs on Android 11, just like the LTE model. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE (WiFi) is priced at Rs 41,999 for the sole 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant.

Recently, Samsung has been targeting the Indian market with its plethora of devices, and as the demand for computing devices is still high, south Korean tech wants to eat the pie as much as it can before the hype dies down.
