Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics, recently visited Samsung BKC at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai, marking his first visit since the store’s opening.
During this visit, Han emphasized Samsung’s dedication to the Indian market by introducing AI and hyper-connectivity to tech-savvy consumers. He extended an invitation to consumers to explore Samsung’s latest AI innovations spanning its entire product portfolio, including televisions, digital appliances, and smartphones.

India, in particular, is identified as a significant frontier for AI, and Samsung’s flagship store, Samsung BKC, serves as a tangible representation of the ‘AI for All’ vision, showcasing the concept of ‘One Samsung.’ The store’s various zones provide consumers with a firsthand experience of Samsung’s AI vision in action, offering insights into how smarter, enhanced experiences will redefine their way of life.
Earlier in the year, Han unveiled Samsung’s ‘AI for All’ vision at CES, demonstrating how AI will enable users to interact with their devices more intuitively and conveniently than ever before. As part of this vision, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI within its new Galaxy S24 smartphone series at CES.
Han also acknowledged India as one of the largest and fastest-growing markets globally, presenting a substantial opportunity for Samsung. He emphasized the influence of India’s large population of tech-savvy young consumers, inspiring Samsung to innovate and invest in cutting-edge technologies such as AI. Han expressed pride in the thousands of young, enterprising individuals working at Samsung’s R&D centers in India, playing a pivotal role in bringing advanced technologies to the world.
