In a post that has since been deleted, tipster Kro via X (formerly Twitter) shared screenshots suggesting that Samsung may be developing more budget-friendly versions of its foldable devices under the Fan Edition branding. Based on the leaked details it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE is expected to be, around 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2 mm in size when folded while the Z Flip FE could measure about 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm when opened up.

There are whispers in the air suggesting that the Galaxy Z Flip FE might run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. As for the Galaxy Z Fold FE, it could use either Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos chips which may vary depending on the region including options like Exynos 2300 or Exynos 2200.

In terms of RAM setups for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE we might see configurations ranging from 12GB to 16GB whereas for the Galaxy Z Flip FE, there might be a variant with an 8GB option. Both models are expected to provide storage choices of either 256GB or up to 512GB.

A source named Anthony also hints that both Fan Edition versions of the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip could possibly feature Exynos models like the Exynos 2200. Nevertheless, it’s wise to take these rumors with a grain of salt considering how uncertain things can get with Samsung gadgets and all the conflicting information floating around.

Samsung is gearing up for its anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event set for mid-July where we can expect them to unveil their range of phones. Furthermore, the company might unveil a range of products including the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Galaxy Watch 7 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy XR headset, and the Galaxy Ring. Although it’s not set in stone there’s a possibility that the launch of the FE models could be revealed this year.
