The Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
However, it was during the brief period when specifics about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 models were being leaked on various platforms that this became more than just a speculation. On the FCC certification page, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 FE were recently enrolled. The FCC listing has published five model numbers: SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, SM-L315, and SM-R861.
All of these model numbers have been seen before; in addition to FCC, they have been listed on Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance in the past. It is believed that the SM-L300 and SM-L305 numbers belong to the cellular-less 40mm and 44mm of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 while the SM-L310 and SM-L315 belong to the cellular-enabled versions of the same sizes. The last remaining SM-R861 is believed to be the Galaxy a cheap model in the series.
Therefore, this certification confirming the Galaxy Watch 7 series’ existence likely means that Samsung will indeed announce these smartwatches at Galaxy Unpacked. This means that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will likely make their debut alongside the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Accordingly, rumors indicate that the upgraded smartwatches will include a new Exynos W1000 chip in a 3nm process, doubling efficiency. Additionally, with 15pw facts charging, 32GB storage capacity, and One UI 6 Watch are also expected.
