Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra at the Paris launch event this Wednesday on a global scale. Samsung ditches last year’s Classic model in its newest Ultra edition of the Galaxy Watch series. There are two sizes for the Galaxy Watch 7, those being 40mm and 44m, partnered with a single size of Ultra Watch which is 47mm. To that end, both models are equipped with LTE up to 5.3 and Bluetooth connections. The Ultra will reportedly be a high-performance outdoor wearable.

Samsung brings Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra Smartwatch in the US, starting at $299. The Galaxy Watch 7 40mm will come in Cream or Green while the 44mm model has a choice between Green and Silver. The Galaxy Watch Ultra will launch in Titanium Grey, Titanium Silver, and Titanium White.
In India, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 with Bluetooth is ₹29,999, and the one with Bluetooth LTE for ₹33,999. The 44mm Bluetooth model starts at ₹32,999 and for the LTE variant, it will be sold in India starting at ₹36,999. The Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available for ₹59,999. Both models are up for pre-orders at 8 pm IST today, July 10 sale starting on July 24.
Both models can be pre-booked and Samsung has detailed the offers that are available. However, pre-bookers of the Galaxy Watch 7 will get a multi-bank cashback or an upgrade bonus worth ₹8,000. Pre-booking an offer on the Galaxy Watch Ultra multi-bank cashback or upgrade bonus of ₹10,000.
There are two versions of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7: one with a 40mm case that measures 40.4×40.4×9.7mm and weighs 28.8g while the 44mm model measures 44.4×44.4×9.7mm and weighs 33.8g. Additionally, the 1.3-inch (432×432 pixels) Super AMOLED always-on display on the smaller model and a bigger 1.5-inch (480×480 pixels).
The Galaxy Watch 7 is the first device in Samsung’s smartwatch lineup to feature a processor based on the power-efficient 3nm process; it houses an Exynos W1000 that boasts two cores. These watches operate on the Wear OS One UI 6 Watch from Google. It houses 300 mAh on the 40mm and a larger one of about 425 mAh in size for sizes 44mm variant with WPC-based wireless fast charging.
It comes with fitness tracking features like heart rate, oxygen, and sleep monitoring improved by new functions such as Workout Routine and Race which serve for real-time performance analysis. The Galaxy Watch 7 will offer Sleep analysis AI, Novo FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea tracking, Real-Time Heart Rate alerts, Atrial Fibrillation monitoring, ECG, and Blood Pressure monitoring.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, available in a single 47mm size, measures 47.1×47.4×12.1mm and weighs 60.5g. It has a Titanium-grade frame and a 1.5-inch (480×480 pixels) Super AMOLED always-on display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It shares the same processor, storage, and OS as the Watch 7 and offers 10ATM water resistance.
With a 590mAh battery, the Watch Ultra supports WPC-based wireless fast charging and boasts the longest battery life in the Galaxy Watch lineup, offering up to 100 hours in power-saving mode and up to 48 hours in exercise power-saving mode.
In addition to the health and fitness features of the Galaxy Watch 7, the Watch Ultra includes a multi-sports tile for tracking multi-course workouts, functional threshold power (FTP) for measuring maximum cycling power, personalized heart rate zones, a Quick Button for workouts, an emergency siren, and a Night Mode.
