Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S series hasn’t undergone major design upgrades in recent years, aside from the integration of Galaxy AI features. Even the Ultra variants have seen minimal visual changes. The most significant occurred last year when Samsung shifted from Exynos to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Now that the rumour mill is hinting that the next Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. More information has emerged from a benchmark listing on the Geekbench benchmark database.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 9400+ SoC and 12GB RAM, Scores Underwhelm
Spotted by the tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, carrying the model number SM-X736B, is seen on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC. This chip has a peak clock speed of 3.73GHz, an improvement on last year’s Dimensity 9300+, which topped out at 3.4GHz. The benchmark listing also shows that the tablet comes with 12GB of RAM.
In terms of performance, the benchmark scores were somewhat underwhelming. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 recorded 1,420 in the single-core test and 5,312 in the multi-core test. For context, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra from last year, which also used a MediaTek chip, scored significantly higher at 2,115 (single-core) and 7,058 (multi-core). These results might be due to the current unit being a prototype, which could affect performance.
As for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which we reviewed last year, it continues to be a niche device priced at ₹1,04,999 in India. Accessories, including a charger, must be purchased separately. It features a 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a 2960 x 1848 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a slim 5.4mm profile. With an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, it’s one of the few tablets offering such durability. It weighs 718 grams and houses an 11,200mAh battery that provides multi-day usage under light conditions.
