Pricing and Specifications of Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2

The Galaxy SmartTag 2 is presented to consumers in two color choices, Black and White, with a price tag of ₹2,799 in India. Shoppers can acquire it through multiple channels, including the official Samsung online store, Amazon, and brick-and-mortar Samsung retail stores across the country.

The Galaxy SmartTag 2 which was launched globally on October 11 comes in a ring shape that reminds us of Apple’s AirTag. This nifty tracking device is designed to help people keep tabs on their belongings and even their furry friends. One interesting feature is the “Lost Mode,” where users can enter their contact information through a text message. If someone finds a lost item, with a Galaxy SmartTag 2 attached they can scan the tag to access the owner’s details. This handy feature works on any device with a web browser and NFC reader.

The Compass View feature has been updated in the SmartTag 2 making it even more useful as a tracker. This function is available on any Galaxy smartphone that supports Ultra Band (UWB). Additionally, Samsung has made improvements to the SmartThings Find app allowing users to add a shortcut to their smartphones for access. The app now boasts a user interface. Provides a full-screen map view for added convenience.

When it comes to battery life the Galaxy SmartTag 2 sets a standard. It can last up to 700 days, in power-saving mode. Achieves a battery life of 500 days even in regular mode. This new model, in the Galaxy SmartTag lineup, brings two advancements compared to its predecessors. Moreover, it is designed to endure dust and splashes boasting an IP67 rating that enhances its durability.
