Most recently, tipster Kro on X (previously Twitter) stated that Samsung is working on a UDC for the Galaxy S26 Ultra and shared the prototype display with no notch or hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera. The first Galaxy Fold device to include this tech was the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and it’s since included in other foldables, such as the Z Fold 4 and 5. UDC technology essentially makes the camera disappear under the display it is so to say hidden away behind the display so the viewers are uninterrupted with the cut out of a camera.
