Rumor has stated that TSMC’s 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (codename SUN) will power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25.

Six energy-efficient Phoenix M CPU cores and two incredibly potent Phoenix L CPU cores make up the eight-core Oryon CPU that is reported to be included in it. The CPU would outperform Apple’s M series CPUs, he says, adding that Qualcomm’s performance has significantly improved.

A few years ago, Qualcomm acquired the Nuvia team and went on to develop the proprietary Oryon CPU cores.
