Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Pricing Leaked for South Korea Ahead of Launch

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s battery capacity has surfaced through a certification listing, alongside key specifications revealed in leaks and rumors. The device is expected to be the fourth model in the S25 lineup, and while it is reportedly set to launch on April 16, Samsung hasn’t yet officially confirmed the date. Now new leaks have given us as good an idea of its pricing and storage configurations as we have based on an earlier report.

It would slot between the S25+ and S25 Ultra, as per South Korean media outlet Financial News. It will come in two storage options—256GB and 512GB—matching the standard S25 and S25+. It is priced at 1,500,000 won (₹90,068) for the base 256GB variant and 1,630,000 won (₹97,874) for the 512GB model. In dollar amounts, this works out to around $1,031 and $1,120, respectively.

For comparison, the S25+ starts at 1,353,000 won ($928) for 256GB and 1,496,000 won ($1,026) for 512GB, suggesting that the S25 Edge will be priced higher than the Plus model but still more affordable than the S25 Ultra, which begins at 1,698,400 won (~$1,165). But Samsung’s pricing isn’t uniform across the globe; while the S25 Ultra starts at $1,299 in the US to trigger the other, the S25 Edge could be a reasonable bit more outside of Korea.

It also repeats previous reports that Samsung intends to cap initial production at 40,000 devices, with increases based on consumer interest. Moreover, no 1TB unit for the S25 Edge or the exclusive colors found on Samsung’s site are likely to be there. Regarding availability, the S25 Edge is expected to hit the market in May.

Rumor has it that Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging, a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, etc. Camera-wise, the device is said to feature a 200 MP primary sensor. It will reportedly be available in Light Blue, Black, and Silver and measure just 5.84mm in thickness while weighing 162 grams.
