Samsung is gearing up for the imminent launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series in India. According to a report from Korean outlet Biz SBS, the Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for January 17 at 11:30 PM IST in India.
The series is expected to comprise the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, all of which, as reported by Sam Mobile, are poised to be labeled as the ‘smartest AI phones ever,’ posing a formidable challenge to the Google Pixel 8 Pro with their advanced AI features.
The All New Samsung Galaxy S24 Series
The anticipated features and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series include a flat display, reminiscent of their predecessors. Notably, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus are anticipated to boast larger and brighter displays. Renowned tipster Ahmed Qwaider suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a titanium frame, akin to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, offering 56% more durability compared to the Armor Aluminum utilized in its forerunners.
In terms of chipset, GSMArena reports that the Samsung Galaxy S24 is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, while the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra are anticipated to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, aligning with the specifications of the OnePlus 12 and iQOO 12.
The forthcoming Galaxy S24 series is set to introduce innovative AI features, as disclosed by tipster Arsène Lupin. These features include Live Translate, Generative Edit for photos, Nightography Zoom, High Resolution, and more. Live Translate facilitates real-time on-device language translation, while Generative Edit allows users to edit images by manipulating objects, similar to Google’s Magic Editor. High Resolution enables capturing images in high resolution with the primary camera, and the Nightography feature enhances low-light image quality.
