Before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event, the prices of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus had undergone a permanent reduction of ₹10,000. This price adjustment is now effective on various e-commerce platforms, including Flipkart, among others. This development occurred just days before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra scheduled for January 17.

The S23 series smartphones now present an attractive option for buyers seeking a flagship experience at a comparatively lower cost than the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 lineup. For a more in-depth exploration, here are the revised prices, bank offers, and specifications of these latest smartphones.

The 8GB + 128GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S23 starts at ₹64,999 on the e-commerce website, while the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ₹69,999. It is available in four colors: Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black. The most enticing bank offer includes up to ₹10,000 off on HDFC Bank Credit Non-EMI, Credit, and Debit Card EMI transactions. Other bank card offers and exchange discounts of up to ₹20,300 are also applicable, with no-cost EMI options available.

The base model of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus (8GB + 256GB) is now priced at ₹84,999, while the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage can be purchased for ₹94,999 on Flipkart. Available in Phantom Black and Cream colors, customers can benefit from an extra ₹10,000 off through HDFC Bank Credit Non-EMI, Credit, and Debit Card EMI transactions. Additionally, exchange cashback of up to ₹20,300 is available. While the base model is currently out of stock on Flipkart (at the time of writing), it can still be purchased at the stated price on Croma.

Both phones feature FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz screens with up to 1,750 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Display sizes are 6.1-inch for the S23 and 6.7-inch for the S23 Plus. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip, the devices run on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 OS.

In terms of battery capacity, the S23 and S23+ are equipped with 3,900mAh and 4,700mAh batteries, respectively. Optics-wise, the IP68-rated devices feature a 50MP + 12MP + 10MP rear camera setup and a 12MP selfie lens. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
