Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is the company strategic device that was expected to launch in August in the company’s Unpacked event of the year. Although there is no concrete evidence of its launch in August, the expectation can be ruined by the latest news that surfaced earlier today claiming that Samsung has decided to halt the production of its most strategic device Galaxy S21 FE indefinitely.
Trusted sources claim that the production has been halted for at least a month. So, we can not expect the new Galaxy S21 FE smartphone by September at least. The reason for this halt has been put forward as the shortage of semiconductors. We can also witness the cancellation of this device if something went wrong during this time.
Industry sources confirmed that Samsung Electronics has urgently stopped the production of the ‘Galaxy S21 FE’. A few days earlier on 11th, they had notified each partner to suspend the production of parts for the Galaxy S21 FE and cancellation of orders for sub-materials.
“While we cannot discuss details of the unreleased product, nothing has been determined regarding the alleged production suspension,” Samsung said in a text message Sunday.
Samsung has allocated Qualcomm APs to its foldable phones and suspended the Galaxy S21 FE model because there are not enough semiconductors. The same processors, Qualcomm application processors, were decided to be used in the lower version smartphone of the Galaxy S21 series, but it seems that Korean Tech giant Samsung is currently focusing more on its upcoming Foldable rather than the upcoming cheaper S21 version.
