According to Daniel Seung Lee, an executive at Samsung who recently posted on LinkedIn the Samsung Galaxy Ring is scheduled to be launched in the half of this year. There are speculations that this wearable might make its debut alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 which are typically released around July or August. However, this hasn’t been officially confirmed by Samsung yet.
The anticipated features of the Samsung Galaxy Ring include ECG and PPG tracking capabilities along with the ability to control smart home devices. The data collected by this ring will likely be accessible through the Samsung Health app. Furthermore, there have been rumors suggesting that it will be compatible with devices such as Samsung Galaxy Watches and XR devices as well as smartphones.
On Threads, tech analyst Avi Greengart leaked some details, about what fans can expect from the Samsung Galaxy Ring. He mentioned that the ring will come in sizes up, to 13 and will be offered in three finishes. From the image, it seems that only the Silver version has been hinted at.
