Samsung Galaxy F06 5G, M06 5G Appear on BIS, Launch Soon

While the flagship Samsung Galaxy S25 series of smartphones will be launched at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22nd, Indian consumers will also get to see the upcoming two 5G budget smartphones, as the company is preparing to introduce them at the very same event as well. Both Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G have reportedly received BIS certification, hinting at being just about to enter the market.

Both the devices were listed on the BIS with model numbers SM-E066B/DS and SM-M066B/DS, which have previously been tipped to belong to the Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G smartphones, respectively, according to MySmartPrice. Both of these devices have also recently been spotted in the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, hinting at an impending release as well.

Though BIS certification does not include particular mention of the features or specifications of the phones, the listing does confirm dual SIM (DS) support as indicated by the nomenclature of the model numbers. The Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will likely succeed the Samsung Galaxy F05 5G and Galaxy M05 5G, which went on sale in September 2024 priced from ₹7,999. The earlier models came with a 6.7-inch HD+ display with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
