Samsung is supposedly preparing to release an additional pair of wireless earbuds, which may be the successors—or possibly budget alternatives—to the Galaxy Buds FE. These forthcoming earbuds may even launch as Samsung’s first “Core” release in the Galaxy Buds series, possibly borrowing from Samsung’s naming strategy seen in entry-level smartphones such as the Galaxy A03 Core.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Core Leak Reveals Major Battery Upgrade and Budget-Friendly Design for India Launch

This new “Galaxy Buds Core” model is expected to offer an affordable alternative in Samsung’s audio portfolio. The white color option in early renders looks similar to the Galaxy Buds FE with an ear-hook design. The cosmetic design may not change drastically, but an improved battery is anticipated. According to the document issued by the Norwegian safety regulator Nemko, and published by SamMobile, the new Core series will have a 100mAh battery on each earbud – a big step up from the 60mAh battery included in the Galaxy Buds FE.

The charging case is also reportedly receiving a boost, with a 500mAh battery compared to the Buds FE’s 479mAh. These upgrades hint at longer usage times and improved battery life overall. The earbuds are also associated with the model number SM-R410, which has made an appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database and on a Samsung support page in India as well. This suggests that the new Buds Core may soon come to the Indian market, with its sights set on consumers on a budget.

The best price for the Galaxy Buds FE on Amazon right now is $44.99, and the Core variant may sell for an even lower price or offer better value at the same cost. Altogether, the Galaxy Buds Core appear to be Samsung’s next move in expanding its budget-friendly audio offerings, with a focus on delivering longer battery life and dependable performance in an affordable package.
