The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 retail box image, which can be seen below, displays the earbuds’ main characteristics and design. The carrying case and earphones’ designs are visible on the front of the box package. This might mean a significant redesign for the earbuds.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 retail box details and its features

In contrast to the in-ear design of the Galaxy Buds 2, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 features a stem design. This ought to improve the fit of the ears.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3’s AKG sound tuning is also disclosed on the retail packaging. In order to fit the newly designed headphones, the charging case’s design has also changed. It is now somewhat broader. Additionally, the charging case contains a USB-C connector for charging and LED indicators to show the state of the charge.

Additionally, fast-charging support will be available, allowing for an hour of playback on a 10-minute rapid charge. Considering the Buds 2 could play music for an hour on a single charge (five minutes), this looks like a step backward.

A few of the Galaxy Buds 3’s characteristics are featured on the rear of the packaging box. The earbuds’ six-hour battery life is confirmed by this. It is unclear if this is with ANC turned on or off (my assumption being that since the Buds 2 had ANC support, the Buds 3 will too).

It’s almost official that the Galaxy Buds 3 will appear different from the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, regardless of whether that turns out to be the case.

Additionally, we can see AKG branding on the back of the earphones and the box packing reveals that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will have AKG sound tuning.

Therefore, rivals of Samsung are already considering the future of touch-free features with earphones, while Samsung is concentrating on its new pinch controls.

The entire capability of the Galaxy Buds 3 and their Pro counterparts will be revealed when they are released, and we still have a few weeks until Galaxy Unpacked 2024.
