The design of the Galaxy Buds 3 has been revealed thanks to leaked photos shared by Evan Blass on Twitter/X. At a glance, they look like Apple AirPods clones far more than anything from Samsung.
The buds instead include a stemless design and no silicone ear tips. The inner part of the bud carries over to its similar grille speaker insert and there are multiple mics on both sides on top, as well. The stem is square rather than the rounded shape of current Galaxy Buds, and it terminates in two metal plates, borrowing from Samsung’s new blue/orange color scheme. One previous image indicated that the black line might be an LED strip or capacitive sensor.
Most surprising, the leak suggests there will be no silicone tips on the Galaxy Buds 3 which may call for long-term wear comfort in question. The leak also images the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, which do have silicone tips but still look familiar.
Both the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro are scheduled to be officially unveiled in Paris on July 10.
