Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be the first from the OEM to come with Windows 10

It’s expected that the South Korean tech giant will hold its Galaxy Unpacked event tomorrow. Its been suggested that Samsung will unveil its Galaxy Book Go in the event, however, it seems that the specs of the entry-level notebook have made their way to online news junkies.

According to sources, the Galaxy Book Go will be the first ARM notebook to run on the Windows 10 operating system. Coming at a retail price of around 449 Euros ($542) in Europe, the notebook is estimated to hit the US market with a starting price of $349 which should be for the non-LTE model.

Coming to the specs, the Samsung Galaxy Book Go will feature a 14-inch HD display on an LCD screen. The laptop is LTE-enabled however, the LTE-capable version of the laptop will only be available in Germany.

The LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Book Go has an LTE modem, USB multi ports with support for USB 2.0, Type-C, and USB 3.2, and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility. For charging the OEM has provided a USB Type-C port, indicating fast charging capability.

Its also expected that the Galaxy Book Go will include a fingerprint reader for customized unlocking of the laptop, a 720p camera, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card slot. In terms of processor, it is stated that the notebook will be powered using the ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c, with eight computing cores and an integrated LTE modem.
