Samsung Galaxy A82 listed on Google Play Console

After the arrival of Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72, another A-series smartphone of Samsung has been listed on Google Play Console, named Samsung Galaxy A82. However, it has already been listed on a couple of other websites as well, such as Geekbench benchmarking and Bluetooth SIG authority. So, from the current listing of Google Play Console, we’ve got the first look at the phone’s front design along with some of the key specifications.

In terms of specifications, Google Play Console reveals that the Galaxy A82 is powered by the SM8150P chipset of Qualcomm and the model number of this phone has finally confirmed that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset paired with 6GB of RAM (earlier, Geekbench listing revealed that there will be a 4GB RAM option, which means it will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM variants).

The upcoming Galaxy A82 runs on Android 11 OS and regarding display, it will offer an FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) super AMOLED panel with 450ppi screen density. The Bluetooth SIG listing revealed that this phone has support for Bluetooth 5.0. Regarding the camera section, a recent leak revealed that it will have a 64MP primary camera setup whereas it is not confirmed whether it will have a “dual-use” camera setup that we’ve seen in its predecessor launched in 2019, named Samsung Galaxy A80.

The launch date has not been confirmed yet but is expected to get launched around mid-2021.
