The Samsung Galaxy A56, a new mid-range smartphone, has had its design revealed through detailed CAD renders and a video, in collaboration with OnLeaks, as reported by Android Headlines. The images in the leak capture its details which include a design that appears to borrow more than a little from a range of Samsung’s recent devices.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Design Leaked: Flat Frame, Key Island Feature, and 45W Charging
The Galaxy A56 has a mostly flat frame a design that was seen, too, on Samsung’s flagship phones. But, the right side of this device has something new, called the “Key Island.” You can see that the power and volume buttons are within that raised section, giving your thumb something to grip for easier access. And the other bits of the frame around the edges gently curve to make for a more ergonomic phone.
On the front of the device is a flat display with a centered punch-hole camera. They are thin bezels with the exception of the bottom bezel being of a slightly different thickness. From the back, the design is flat again yet it does have a camera island protruding from the top-left corner. The camera setup consists of three sensors and an LED flash.
For what it’s worth, the Galaxy A56 could come with 45W wired charging, a fast-charging ability that usually ends up on Samsung’s pricier models. A recent certification based there is evidence of this. Rumors also suggest the Exynos 1580 chipset which hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Assuming Samsung follows its usual release schedule, we might see the Galaxy A56 become available in March 2025. The Galaxy A54 launched in March 2023 with the A55 tipped to arrive in March 2024, meaning that a likely March 2025 release would fit the pattern, provided that it doesn’t get changed up. With a compelling blend of style and functionality, the Galaxy A56 promises to further cement Samsung’s reputation in the mid-range bracket, and interest is likely to intensify as additional information is revealed.
