Finally, Samsung has listed its cheapest 5G smartphone- Galaxy A42. According to the source, the company is demanding that this handset is the cheapest 5G smartphone in the Samsung smartphone family. This phone comes with three colour options- Black, White, and Gray. Let’s check out the features of this phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a 6.6″ super AMOLED, water drop-notch display with (1080×2400)pixels of screen resolutions, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The power and volume button are present on the right side of the phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset, which is paired with 4GB of RAM capacity and the support of 128GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage capacity through a MicroSD card. This phone runs on Android 10, One UI 2.5.
Enlighten to the camera section. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a quad-rear camera on the backside, aligned in a rectangle-shaped module with a flash on the top left corner. The rear camera includes- a 48MP main sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and two 5MP for Macro and Depth sensors. The water drop-notch shape on the screen holds a 20MP selfie camera sensor. The fingerprint sensor may be placed on the screen.
The phone is packed with a Li-Po non-removable 5,000 mAh of battery capacity. The phone also has Dual-SIM(Nano) facility with 5G connectivity. Other connectivity options are- dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type C port for charging. The onboard sensors include- accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and an e-compass.
Regarding the price, the Samsung Galaxy A42 is set to be priced at about EUR 370(Roughly Rs. 31,787).
