Samsung Galaxy A03s with Helio P35 launched in India

Samsung Galaxy A03s has launched in India as a budget-friendly offering from the company and the latest entrant in the Galaxy A-series. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC and comes with a triple rear camera setup. It features a notch for the selfie camera and thick bezels on all sides, which is common for smartphones in this range. The Samsung Galaxy A03s is offered in two RAM and storage configurations as well as three colours. Let’s take a look ahead the detailed specifications, pricing, and availability:

The Samsung Galaxy A03s features a plastic body with a waterdrop notch, a noticeable bezel on the bottom, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the rear, it packs a rectangular camera unit. The device bears a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) TFT LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9.

In terms of optics, Galaxy A03s packs a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the V-shaped notch houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Samsung Galaxy A03s draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 11-based One UI 3.1 and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that can easily last for a day. There is no word on the fast charging capabilities of the device.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5m headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard the Samsung Galaxy A03s include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing, Offers and Availability

The Galaxy A03s variants such as 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage are priced at Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,499, respectively. The device comes in three colours such as black, white, and blue. It will be available for purchase through Samsung India’s online shop, leading e-commerce sites, and retail stores. Customers with ICICI debit/credit cards and those opting for financing plans from Samsung Finance+, Bajaj Finance, or TVS can avail of a cashback of Rs 1,000.
