Samsung becomes the top Tablet vendor in the EMEA market

Android tablets are a lot less popular these days than they were a few years ago. Tech companies over the years have not been paying attention to the manufacture and innovation of tablet technology.

Despite all this, Samsung has always kept its promise of delivering killer tablets over these years. Founded back in 1969 named Samsung Electric Industries, Suwon, the South Korea-headquartered Samsung Electronics these days makes everything from televisions to semiconductors and displays.

Recently with the world suffering from the outbreak of COVID-19. Education and the Economy have taken a major hit. However, with a work from home becoming a new Norm, many people have started preferring to buy tablets over notebooks as they are convenient to use for work on the go. With this, there has been a huge increase in the demand for tablets.

Considering all this, Samsung has recently reported a 70% increase in its tablet shipment from a year ago. In Q2, by surpassing Apple, Amazon, and Lenovo, Samsung Electronics has become the top vendor in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Top 5 best-selling tablets in India 2020

International Data Corp (IDC), has reported that Samsung has shipped 3.37 tablets in the EMEA market in the April-June period. It has taken up to 28.3 percent of the shares in the EMEA market.

What’s now for Samsung?

Currently, Samsung has crossed all the tablets in the market with its latest Galaxy Tab S7. although there are a large number of Galaxy Tabs to choose from, Samsung’s future performance in the tablet market will be secure on the success of its Tab S7.

But as it stands, the latest entry in Samsung’s tablet line-up, is already a buzz among the folks.

The most important aspect of any tablet is its display and Samsung has not disappointed users with its latest tablet. Tab S7 boasts and 11-inch LCD panel with a 2560×1600 resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Samsung is maintaining the consumer appeal with its new tablet as it also offers an S Pen along with a tablet at no extra cost. With continued innovation in display and camera technology, and Samsung being on the pinnacle of folding smartphones. The future expectations of gadget users are at their peak. One can soon expect, Samsung to incorporate more latest innovations in its tablet technology as well.
