Samsung Ballie has been introduced as an updated version of the previous personal assistant robot and is all set to debut at CES 2024, featuring a revamped design, an integrated projector, and enhanced AI capabilities. More About the Samsung Ballie

The new and improved Samsung Ballie offers more, than a makeover. It serves as a companion providing entertainment and even acting as a mobile guard dog with its rear cameras. This robotic assistant excels in mobility following users around the house answering calls and greeting people at the door. Not only can it control devices like lights and thermostats but it can also provide answers to questions making it a dynamic equivalent to virtual assistants like Alexa but with a physical presence.

One of the standout features of this version is its built-in projector, which takes functionality to the level. It claims to be the projector that can automatically detect people’s posture and facial angle adjusting the projection angle for viewing. Additionally, the projector is designed to adapt itself to surfaces giving users the flexibility to stream content from platforms such as YouTube and other compatible sources.

When compared directly with LG’s Smart Home AI agent Samsung Ballie stands out not for its updated features but, for its catchy and memorable name. Although both AI assistants were announced on the day Ballie takes the lead in terms of naming creativity. As is usual, for CES announcements the exact pricing and availability of the Ballie 2024 have not been revealed. Nevertheless, Samsung’s creative combination of mobility AI features and a built-in projector demonstrates the company’s dedication to advancing technology.
