Samrat Prithviraj is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video

Samrat Prithviraj is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The movie has failed at the box office, it has collected only less than Rs 100 crore, whereas the movie has a budget of Rs 200 crore.

As per the report, the movie has gained around 36-37 crores from the box offices and around Rs 10 crore from the music rights. The makers have sold their digital rights to Amazon Prime Video within a month of its release in theatres, whereas the satellite rights are with Star Network under YRF’s blanket deal and has gained 100 crores. Allover, the movie Samrat Prithviraj has earned Rs 150 crore and it has beared loss of Rs50 crore.

The movie Samrat Prithviraj is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The movie is going to be out on the OTT platform within a month of its release in the theatres. The movie was released on 3rd June 2022. Now, the movie is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from 1st July 2022 onwards i.e., from tomorrow. The movie is going to stream in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Akshay Kumar has shared his feeling about playing the role of Samrat Prithviraj. In a statement he said that, “In my career spanning three decades, I have never played such a huge historic role. I feel honored to be able to essay the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan on screen. I’m excited to bring this epic saga to every household now with Amazon Prime Video from July 1 and I’m glad that through this medium the inspiring story of a great Indian warrior and a mighty king, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, will reach across the globe.”

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood. On the work front, Akshay Kumar is having a movie under the directorial of Aanand L Rai named Raksha Bandhan. The film marks Akshay’s second collaboration with Aanand L Rai after Atrangi Re.
